HP Touchpad Troubleshooting

The most common hp touchpad problems are that it stops working and then you are dependant on USB mouse. If your HP Touchpad not working properly There are some tips as well, which seems little surprising but sometimes work.

A         First remove the battery for 7 to 10 minutes
Unplug your USB mouse
Reinserted the battery (but not the power cord).
Also make sure to clean the connections on the battery and laptop using compressed air. Take out the hard drive right under the touchpad by simply removing the 2 screws and air-dusted underneath.


B          Reinstall Hp touchpad driver

C         First Right click on the Synaptics Pointing Device. You will find the icon left side of Battery indicator.
Then Select the Pointing Device Properties
Select the tab 'Device settings'
Enable Synaptics Touchpad V7.2
